Entry for October 6, 2006
Tonight we have some sad news to share. Coming home we found that Brinks, our little liver and white boy was lethargic and wouldn't eat or nurse. We took him to the emergency vet clinic where they palpated him, took x-rays, ran a barium series and discovered that his intestin had twisted at the stomach. He was by that time in pain. I held him as he gently went, he now plays with my girls Grayce and Rachel...and feel well and will be from this point on. The photo shown with this blog entry is the last we have him... we took "pumpkin" photo's last night before we all went to bed.
We love you Brinky... and tears are being shed for you as I type this entry. Sleep well, my little guy.
