The Two Towers
The second book in J.R.R. Tolkien's trilogy The Lord of the Rings as well as the second movie in the film adaptation, both versions of The Two Towers are proving to be popular.
The second book follows the story of the broken fellowship as they continue their quest in opposite directions. Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli make speedy travel in search of Merry and Pippin while Frodo and Sam, now joined by the sly Gollum, draw ever near to Mount Doom.
In the book, this story is broken up into two books. The first following the adventures of Aragorn and his companions and the second telling of the deeds of Frodo and Sam. It is expected that the movie will intertwine these two tales, moving back and forth from one group to the other.
It must be noted that there are several differences from the book and the movie. The famed battle of Helm's Deep, which  takes a large amount of movie time, was only a very small chapter in the book. Furthermore, there were no elves at Helm's Deep in the books. Legolas was the only elf there and Haldir never died.
As well, Aragorn already had Narsil reforged at Rivendell before he left. In the movie, Aragron does not have his sword yet.
Frodo follows Faramir to a city in the movie and almost surrenders the ring to a Nazgul while there. Tolkien never had Frodo go to a city with Faramir in his books and the scene with the Nazgul never took place.
Despite the differences, there are many highlights to the movie and is a must see for any Lord of the Rings fan.
