The Essential Skills Centre is an Adult Learning provision of Clackmannanshire Council, Education and Community Services.
The service delivers tuition, guidance and support in reading, writing, spelling and number skills to adults living in the county.
We provide a safe, friendly environment where students can relax and learn at their own pace with no pressures.
Trained tutors and volunteer workers are always on hand to help, and a suite of modern computers
allows students to mix traditional learning methods with up to date technology. Training is given to those who are unfamiliar with computers and the internet.
The service includes help for adults who want to improve their everyday skills for any reason. We also support those with Specific Learning Difficulties and provide tuition in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
