Together with your e-mail message, attach a file containing the text you need to have edited. Ideally, your text will be an MSWord document; alternately, you can send the paper as a .txt or .wri file. Other types of files can get electronically chewed up, but if you're not familiar with MSWord, you can always use Copy and Paste commands to insert your text into the e-mail message itself.
It's a good idea to have your draft in to me a good 48 hours before the paper is due. Most often I can edit your work and return it to you within a day, but there are times when I have other editing requests already lined up and can't guarantee a 24-hour turn-around.
The editing fee is calculated by the number of words in a text. I have kept the standard 1996 editing rate of 3 cents a word. To estimate the cost before you send me your work, just multiply the number of words in your essay by 3: the result is your editing cost in cents.
Payment is in US dollars, by snail mail, using either a personal check or an international money order. All payment is made after you've received your edited work from me.
