Mercdes Benz CL55 AMG As far as luxurious motors go no one has anything on MB at the moment. They have the toys, the pace, are no longer like a barge to drive and dont look like their designed was inspired by a cod, are you listening BMW?

Ferrari 360 Modena Im not going to pretend this is the fastest car for the money,or the most fun, or even the prettiest but i think it is the best compromise. It is raw enough to be an experince but refined enough to actually take it somewhere. With a manual box it strikes a good balance between challenging and ease of driving. Supercars should be fun but at the same time if you can't use the power you might as well be in a Mondeo and this is where the Modena scores.

Ferrari F40 This was the first car I really wanted. I was 5 when it was launced, and i knew even in the 20 or more years it would take till I would be old enough to own one it would still be a great. I was right, nothing has come near it. To my eyes it is the best looking car ever. Its not the prettiest but nothing else has the prescence, park it on the street and no other car will get as big a crowd. But its not just the looks, it goes. Although you would be a fool to push its limits on public roads you could get closer to them than you might think. Most supercars may go fast, be noisy, and have heavy clutches but ask them for a fun drive and they give up. The F40 really can entertain. This car is a lengend.

TVR Grifftth 500 Sometimes all you need is a V8. The sound, especially in a comvertible is so pollitically uncorrect it has to be fun. The Griffith has now been replaced in the TVR line up but it was the first of the new generation cars, and for me is the definitve TVR. It has the slightly outrageous looks, it has the big engine and it has the idiosyncrasies like the lack of inside door handles. As good as the new range is they have moved up a league, half the attraction was the simplicity, it was good basic fun

Audi RS6 Avant This is the odd one out in this group, both not having been porduced yet or by me being convinced of the cars credentials. To clarify this in my ultimate garage, you need an estate, and you need a tow car to get you supercar to track days. As dynamically flawed as the A6 may be in the driving department it is eons ahead of an off roader however car like the X5 is said to be. Audi interiors are my favorite, by far the coolest, 4wd is a bonus, it looks mean and it has plenty of power.

Ferrari 250 SWB Despite all the hype ferrari have made soom shockinglly bad cars. The two truely great eras are the one we are in now and the 60s. The 250 spurned many derivatives and vary drastically in value, but all things considered the SWB is my favorite. For starters I think it is the best looking, those short overhangs, and chunky wings seem perfect. Secondly it is dynamically second only to the GTO, which can cost upto 6 times more. The difference is said to be minimal and SWB truly a well balanced car, both on the track and on the road, which is rare today, let alone the 60's.
