| With this website there are several things you can do. Have students choose one of their favorite songs and attempt to dictate the lyrics. The students can then search for the song on one of the lyrics website and see if they match. Which words or phrases caused them problems? Teachers can also use cloze exercises to test students' listening abilities. Copy one of the songs into a word processor and change some of the words or phrases to blanks. Play the song several times in class and see if the students can fill in the blanks. Good luck! |
