Etuvitist Quotations/Beliefs
'This is your life, to live as yo chouose.'
'Your life is yours by right, you belong to no-one.'
'Life should be lived for its own sake.'
'Life should be lived - proud, reasoned, and slave to no other man. It is rightful exaltation of the individual, nobility of the human spirit.'
'Every person's life is theirs by right. An individuals life can and must belong only to himself, not to any society or cmmunity, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason agains mankind to hold a knife to a mans throat and dictate how he must live his life. No society can be more important than the individuals who compose it, or else you ascribe supreme importance, not to man, but to any notion that strikes the fancy of society, at a never ending cost of lives. Reason and reality are the only means to just laws; mindless wishes, if given sovereignity, become deadly masters.'
'Self-sacrifice is the obscene and senseless suicide of slaves. Self-sacrifice for a value held dear, for a life held dear, for freedom and the freedom of those you respect is the only rationally valid sacrifice. To be selfless means you are a slave who must surrender your most priceless possession - your life - to any smirking thief who demands it.'
This is in disagreement with most major religions in that, selflessness is taught to be a good quality, however what is being said here is that being utterly selfless is wrong, giving to those who need and deserve it is good, giving to lazy theiving wretches is wrong as this is becoming a slave.
'The suicide of self-sacrifice is but a requirement imposed by masters on slaves. Since there s a knife at ones throat, it is to not to their good that they are stripped of what they earn by their own hands and minds. It is only to the good of the one with the knife, and those who by weight of numbers, but not reason dictate what is to the good of all - those cheering him on so they might lap up any drop of blood their master misses.'
'If you dont know the value of your own life, sacrifice can mean nothing to you.'
'Life is precious. That's why sacrifice for freedom is rational: it is for life itself and your ability to live it that you act, since life without freedom is the slow, sure death of self-sacrifice to the 'good' of mankind - who is always someone else. Makind is just a collection of individuals. Why should everyone else's life be more important, more precious, more valuable than yours? Mindlss mandatory self-sacrifice is insane.'
'Is it cruel to say that you would not happily sacrifice yourslef for a thug whom you dont even know? Is it cruel not to willingly sacrifice what's yours to any greedy wretch who lusts to possess plundered goods, the unearned, even at the cost of their victims blood?'
Whilst it is believed that, your life is your own, saying, live it to the full, this should not interfere with other's desire to live their life, therefore reasoned and just laws should be adhered to.
