OK, this is another poem I'm working on At The Moment. I've never written a poem like this before so all comments are appreciated. It is called Olim Amo (I think this is right, it is Latin for 'Once, I loved'). 7.3.03 Espirito
There are 2 versions to this, the first is the original which I'm still working on, the second is a poem I had to do for school and I adapted. It is here and it should hopefully now have a password protecting its unsuitable content :p07.07.04 Espírito
Her lips are red, her skin pearl white,
And her bosom heaves in the pale moonlight.
Together we stroll down a path in the park,
The amorous moon; white, the black sky; dark.
We sit on a bench at the top of a hill,
My arm ventures around her, to ward off the chill.
I turn towards her, she's looking at me
Her pulse quickens, is it I who she sees?
I stare at her, she looks in my eyes,
Unbuttons my shirt, to my surprise.
Captivated by perfection I'm a prisoner to lust,
Can I take her now? I know that I must.
That's all atm, I'll update soon.
