The Starlight zone boss - use the see-saws to bounce high enough to hit Robotnik, but beware, the bombs explode!
Scrap Brain zone - Robotnik's base. Pretty tough level, with fire, electricity bolts, circular saws (ohhh that noise!!), and trap doors.
This is the prototype Scrap Brain zone, called 'Clockwork zone'. Notice the grainy graphics and the missing 'w', but it's basically the same.
Final zone - not amazingly hard really, by modern boss standards, but it was pretty challenging stuff at the time, and has great music too!
The end!
Special Stage - calming, lullaby-like music and a twirling maze with a psychadelic background...I think this must have been a 2 a.m. drug-inspired decision! Still, when you're 11 years old (like I was when I first played it), you couldn't help but be enthralled by it!
