"Warhol's Sun"
By far the creepiest picture I've ever taken. At this point, I've taken a lot of cheesy sunset pictures. So, when my friends encouraged me to take a picture of the sunset they were enjoying, I blurred it out so I would only get three bars of solid colour. The sun, the land and the reflection of the water.
The following month, Warhol's exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery showcased a piece that I have never seen or heard of. He has a "Sunset" collection that uses the same premise. Trippiest experience I've ever felt. Great minds truly think alike! It also reminds me of Edvard Munch's scene from "Scream." |
