Dark Hearts is my first full-length novel (at least the first full-length novel I've written that I'm trying to get published). It's a combination intense adventure, deep mystery, supernatural horror, light-hearted comedy and lovely romance. Ian McDermott is a dark individual with no seeming care for anything else in the world but his own secrets. Molly is a simple girl, a naive beauty who never had a friend or a lover in her life. When the two meet, Molly is instantly drawn to Ian's strange nature, and although he seems completely uninterested she knows that he has a soft spot for her. When Molly discovers a secret room in his apartment, however, that connects him with several ritual murders in the area, her newly-built world breaks apart and falls down around her. But is he the only one who can save her from a terrible secret fate she has spent her life beneath? |
