What's the Point
Most people think that from the
time you are born you live life to
prepare for death, but in actuality, we
are dying from the day we are born.
That may sound morbid and have "glass
half full" esk to it, but if life is
contemplated that way then we live each
moment to the fullest.
A moment can be anything; a millisecond, the time it
takes to kiss
someone you love, or going to see your favorite band. All that
matters is
that nothing is regretted about any moment because in the next,
we could
die.
Death is not a scary thing, it shouldn't be thought of as a
tragedy,
but a release from the everyday hell that we dwell in every day. It
should
be a celebrated thing; the one whom is deceased it now embarking on
the
ultimate and possibly final journey.
Some may be scared of the
proverbial HELL, but is each moment is lived
to it's peak possibilities,
then the energy of the gone will continue on in
blissful harmony.
Death
is nothing to be scared of unless your life is lived in fear as
well. Our
energy we be absorbed into the earth from whence it originally
came. It will
be dispersed to all manners of living things and we will
actually continue
living forever.
As for the flesh, it will decay, but the hopes and dreams
will live on
in others, and the soul (for lack of a better term) will still
have
consciousness. How that consciousness is used is up to the
individual.
In the long run, we need to do what we can for ourselves and
others so
we have a comfortable, friend-filled life and a restful,
regret-free death.
Of course, these are just my opinions.
