Ten years after that dreaded SP-UP merger THE ESPEE LIVES ON!!! On Saturday morning August 19, 2006 in Roseville, CA, Union Pacific unveiled it's last of six SD70ACe Heritage units with the Daylight inspired UP 1996! Railfan speculation in the weeks before unveiling pictured Black Widow and Bloody Nose schemes. But as per the other five UP Heritage Units painted over the last year (MP, WP, KMT, DRGW, CNW), a modified passenger paint scheme from the classic age of streamline railroading was once again adopted. Some fans don't like it, a majority seem to like it in one aspect, I LOVE IT!!! (Ryan M. Martin)
