Consumer Goods Most sporting goods were of plastic materials of varying type, thickness, finish, and form. Many required the study of ergonomic factors. Sunglasses had to have complex shapes to fit the average "schnozola". Sport shoes had wild shapes, several materials (some differing colored parts injected in the same dies), and each design deformed to fit many shoe sizes while maintaining the product design intent, tread, upper sole, or "theme". I used ICEM Surf for many of the complex shapes. |
