Isabelle Autissier
Isabelle is a famous single-handed round the World racer. She has sailed around the world single-handed four times. Her first meeting with the ESOC Sailing Club was during the Meteosat Second Generation launch on 29th August 2002.
She has taken part in the "Vendée Globe" . She also participated in the 1990 "BOC" challenge and came seventh enjoying a tremendous victory in the first stage (she abandoned the race in the second stage).

Ernst Lieblang
Ernst was awarded honorary membership in 2003 in recognition of his direct and consistent support for the ESOC Sailing Club. He is a World War II submarine veteran. He has always been associated with marine activities, being involved in water traffic, commercial and pleasure.
