AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; POWER STEERING
OWNER: ELIE SCIALOM    CITY/COUNTRY: LIMA -  PERU

It was a Sunday June 30, 2002 while reading the local newspaper I saw a car for sale  which caught my attention.  Somebody was selling a 1966 Classic Mustang 1966  "with original documentation".  I really didn't know what it meant then...so I picked up the phone and set an immediate appointment to see that car.
Miss Carmen Velarde opened the door, she was the original owner of this car.
Only after showing me the original invoice No. 163419 from the Ford Motor Company as well as all the original manuals and all the invoices for the services done to this car,  she allowed me to see the car for the first time.
I don't really know if I was impressed by the beauty this car, or by the care Miss Velarde had given to her Mustang.  After that Sunday,  I could
not stop thinking about her car.  It was a strange feeling...Is it possible to actually fall in love with a
car?

On Wednesday July 03, 2002  Miss Velarde sold me her car.
This car had been kept in a garage for the last 4 years.  It showed no rust at all, and the interior was very clean.  However I was decided to restore this baby 100%.  I was going to take her apart piece by piece and rebuild it just as it drove out of  the New Jersey FORD MOTOR COMPANY PLANT  - at 153 Halsey Street - Newark 2, New Jersey  on  January 4th,  1966.
