Peace and blessings. i have finally gotten around to getting this section of my site together. this is on for all the book lovers out there, both male and female...what you didnt think that a brother would read more than the sports and comic sections? I will read anything but romance novels, sorry but i cant get into them. Other than that im a fiction, non-fiction and sci-fi fan. i have to blame my mother and my aunt for my love of reading. they made me start with the comics and sports sections of the paper. From there it was on to the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books. When i became a teenager, it was Iceberg Slim....and its been on since then. so thank you mom and aunt gladys

Im proud to announce that im a reviewer for the RAWSISTAZ Book Club mens section. There is something to be said about the way Men and Women view books. while women might see the strength of a character, Men might see a control freak. so its good and refreshing to see the two sides of the coin. be sure to checkout some of the reviews at RAWSISTAZ

some of my favorite authors (in no certain order)are: Bernice McFadden, J. California Cooper, Michael Baisden, Zane, E. Lynn Harris, Sista Souljah (where is your new book?), Terry McMillan, Carl Weber, Eric Jerome Dickey, Tracey Price-Thompson and Gary Hardwick

some of my favorite books (in no order):The Spook That Sat by the Door, Sugar, the Autobiography of Malcolcm x, the Coldest Winter Ever, Trick Baby, Disappering Acts, Cheaters, Abide With Me, Only the Ball Was White.

What im reading at the moment:
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

What I Have Finished:
by Shannon Holmes.....i had never read anything by Shannon Holmes but picked this up because it was recommended. Its a gritty story written in the way of the streets. Shannon pulls no punches and is very graphic as he weaves the story of a young sister (Tender) lost in the wild streets of Baltimore. Tender is lead into the world of strippin and is soon caught up in the money that she hopes will fuel her future dreams. But she learns that fast money isnt always good money. Rating: 4.5 out of 5

by Zane....this book was off the flip with its stories of backstabbing and sexual trips that make up the Wolfe Industries. Skyscraper is a page turner! Rating: 4 out of 5

by Zane....once again, Zane lets us have it!! This book is about a sister that living the life of two women in one body. There is the innocent Jonquinette, who is busy trying to live a trouble free life and is Nervous around men. Then there is Jude, the strong one that sees men as nothing but sex objects to be used and thrown away. Jude has done somethings in Jonquinettes life thats has caused pain and lead to the breakup of Jonquinettes parents. Now Jonquinettes believes that she has found love but will the hatefull Jude she herself and ruin things for Jon. Rating: 4 out of 5
