These next two pictures are of the very common White-Spotted Damsel. One of the neatest things to watch was the way they would all head straight for the coral as we approached. It reminded me of watching an explosion in reverse. Both of these pictures were taken at Molokini
I thought this was one of the coolest pictures of the bunch. It is a school of Achilles tang. (or some kind of suregon). This was taken at Lanai
A couple of Squirrelfish hidingunder a ledge, Molokini
This is the giant turtle that attacked my new bride. It swam by and snached her up by the back of the head. As soon as I remembered that I was not yet the beneficiary of her life insurance, I pryed the turtle's vice like grip off of her and pulled her to saftey. She has a nasty scar, but I think once her hair grows back, no one will notice. And people thought sharks were dangerous! This was during a shore dive at 5 Graves. (nearly 6!)
More hiding fish... The shark was about 2' to 3' long. Once again, Molokini.
