Since visiting my eldest daughter in America in 1990, I have developed a definate penchant for overseas travel, however opportunity didn't again present itself until 1999, to indulge this particular addiction. Those of you who know me even a little, are very much aware of the development over the last few years of my other addiction - the internet and chat rooms. I have met some wonderful people from all over the world through this medium, and made some wonderful friends, both in Australia and overseas. I also have a great desire to see a whole lot more of this beautiful country of ours, definately "God's own country" in my opinion. So when opportunity presents itself to combine both addictions (after a fashion), who am I to refuse to take advantage of it.
I hope I don't bore you too severely with reminiscences of my wanderings, but I had fun then and I will certainly have fun adding them to my somewhat hotch potch site. Enjoy,and if it whets your appetite to go see the same things, or others, I have well and truly succeeded in my purpose. |
