Hello Class of 1991!

I think it's such a great idea to post a message for those of us who could not make the reunion.
I hope those of you who attended had a great weekend!  Between our crazy work schedules and
winning an all expense paid trip to Nashville (valued at $2000!!!), my husband and I had to rearrange
our vacation time.  Sorry that we missed you.

This is what I have been up to:

I met my husband (who attended Chittenango) a few weeks after our high school graduation
and we have been together ever since!!  We married on July 29, 1995 and have just celebrated
our 6 year anniversary.  We have two daughters: Madelaine who was born 11/15/97 and Brayden
born on 9/16/99.  I have been in retail management since my junior year at Syracuse University.
We have been living in Raleigh, NC since August 1995.  The weather is beautiful but it is a little
too busy for me here.  Since the birth of my children I have been a stay at home mom, working
as a part-time manager with both Gap and Motherhood.

We have had some rough times but the sky is looking bluer each day.  When Mady was
18 months (and when I was 6 months pregnant with our second), she was diagnosed with
cancer.  She has a tumor in her brain stem.  She's had 2 brain surgeries, 13 months of
chemo, 3 eye surgeries, and countless MRI's, hospital stays and PT.  You may have seen
this in the paper or on the news in Syracuse as our family and friends threw a benefit for her
at Barbagello's in Sept. '99.  Amazingly, she has been tested and is intellectually 6 months
in advance of her age group and has hardly any setbacks physically.  She really is a miracle
since she was originally given 4-18 months to live and she has now been in remission for almost
a year (and stable for 2 years)!

Anyway, we spend LOTS of time trying to find a cure for cancer.  We raise money all year
to fund cancer research and donate the money to the Brain Tumor Center At Duke.  We
are part of a committee that holds an event at Duke each year- last year our event raised
$225, 438.  My husband and I have raised over $22,000 in the past 2 years. So, if you would
like to help in our efforts to find a cure, we would greatly appreciate any donations made in
Mady's honor. ( if interested, the address is:

Comprehensive Cancer Center, DUMC 3828, Durham, NC 27710, Attn: Dorrys McCardle.
Please make checks payable to: Duke Brain Tumor Center- 02BT and write Mady Curtis
on the memo line of your check)

Other than that, we have been trying to lead "normal" lives.  It has been great hearing from
those of you who have sent e-mails and I would like to hear what everyone has been up to.
It would also be nice to hear all about the reunion if someone who attended wouldn't mind
posting a message.

I wish you all health and happiness.

Dear Class of 1991, I am happy to hear that another reunion (AHH-15 years!?!) is coming up! I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, unless I can talk my husband into going with our 6 month old TRIPLETS! Yes, I'm very PROUD to announce the arrival of Ryan Joseph - 4lbs. 12oz, Chase Michael - 4lbs. 7oz & Emily Lynn - 4lbs. 9oz. born on November 21, 2005l. We all came home together 4 days later too...healthy, strong, beautiful babies...growing by leaps & bounds! They are so amazing...my hubby of 7 1/2 years, HJ, and I are so blessed & thankful everyday!!! I am still working full-time for Raymour & Flanigan Furniture as a Designer. It has been hard now with the babies, but my mother is our "nanny"...God bless her! Plus, we are fortunate to have some ladies from the Baldwinsville community help my mom throughout the week. Without her & them I don't know what I would have done! It's amazing what happens when you need some help, there are so many wonderful & giving people out there. Anyways, the birth of my babies have obviously kept me VERY busy, my hubby is Director of Operations at the Syracuse SkyChiefs, so our schedules are very full. None the less, I would love to see everyone! If not, I'd love to at least hear from you all...please email me at [email protected]. Can't wait to catch up, maybe we can get together besides the reunion too. I just live in Baldwinsville & work in Liverpool... My best to everyone, Donna Campbell Refici "Proud Triplets Mom"

Hello everyone,

I just wanted everyone to know I'm still alive and
well somewhat, I will be unable to attend the class reunion. I have
unfortunately injured my lower back which my doctor said the 900 mile trek
would probably hinder my healing process. I am not very happy that I'm going
to miss all the festivities, I looked forward to seeing everyone again. Let
me update everyone on were I am now I'm currently living in Nashville,
Tennessee, I'm now married as of December of last year to a wonderful girl
from California we met on the internet ( go figure ) and my married life is
now a bliss (unlike my previous marriage in which for our two year
anniversary I gave divorce papers as a gift) My occupation, I am a regional
manager for Sears Termite and Pest control (yup I'm a bug man) covering
Tennessee, Georgia, and some of Alabama, hey this is the south the bugs are
more plentiful and a lot bigger than they are in New York. I would love to
here from everyone please feel free to write me back if anyone gets time in
there hectic schedules. Kids ? Nope none yet here too busy making the
almighty dollar I guess. I'm so sorry I’m not going to make it but hey I've
already paid for my wife’s and my tickets for both events so someone
please have a few extra beers and food for me!!!! lol. Be good everyone and
God bless you all.

Here's some information about what I am doing for the booklet you are
putting together.

I have been living in Amsterdam for almost 2 years now. I love the town,
and it's great to live outside of the US. I own a company here, and we
design and develop large corporate web sites and such. I'm interested in
living in other cities in Europe, so I will be moving to either London or
Barcelona in the next 3 months to start an office there.

Before I moved to Europe, I was doing the same sort of thing in Washington
DC, Columbus, Baltimore, and other cities.

I'm not married, and enjoy the drug-crazed hedonistic lifestyle over here.
Take care,

Dear Classmates,

My family has grown significantly since our 10 year reunion. I have added a
husband (Derek) and given birth to two boys (Anthony 3 and Donovan 1) Our son
Anthony was born in October 2002 in Saratoga Springs, NY where we resided until
April 2004. Upon learning of our second pregnancy my husband was relocated to
Chicago, IL. Donovan was born in September 2004 in Naperville, IL where we
lived for 15 months. In August of 2005 we relocated to Phoenix where we are
currently living in a beautiful little town called Fountain Hills which borders
Scottsdale on the west and Fort McDowell and the Tonto National Forest on the
north and east. The views are just breathtaking and luckily we expect to be
here for a few years. I am currently staying home to raise our little men. In
my spare time I sing with The Phoenix Symphony Chorus and I am the Membership
VP for our local Moms Club. I also volunteer at my son's preschool where I
teach music to 3 and 4 year olds. I hope to make it to Syracuse in 2006 and
attend our 15 year reunion. Best wishes to you and yours.

I heard the reunion went well and I hope that means there will be another one
in the future that I will be able to attend. I would also like to hear what
everyone else is doing so please let me know what you are putting together
because I would love to have a copy.

As for me, I did have my 2nd daughter on July 30th. It is a good thing that
I didn't agree to come to the reunion. She was 9 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 1/2"
long. Needless to say, I am just now feeling better. She was well worth it.

Well, this is what I have been up to...
I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1995 which is where I met my
husband of 5 years. We were married in October of 1996 and I now live in
Southern New Jersey. I used to work at a company called Towers Perrin where
I was a supervisor in Benefit Administration. I stopped working to raise my
family which consists of 2 daughters, AnnMarie who is going to be 2yrs. old
on the 15th and Julia who was just born on July 30th. We are getting
adjusted to being a family of four now and enjoying every minute...well, just
about every minute. We still have our staffing company where Mike finds
people jobs. We have had the company for 6 years and it is going very well.
We are sorry we missed everyone and hope to see everyone again in the future.
Please keep me posted on any events for the calss of '91 and I hope you all
had a great time. Take care.

Sincerely,
Stephanie (Parz)

P.S.
Mike Parz is doing well too. He has moved and now has a part time job at
where else...a golf course.
He doesn't want to get paid because he gets free golf and he thinks that is
just fantastic! His official title is "Marshall". It is the perfect job for
him, he rides around in a cart and makes sure that everyone is moving along.
If they aren't, then he tells the "move it along". It is a good job for him.

Thank you to all who attended our festivities this weekend. I had a
wonderful time spending time with all of you again. We are very fortunate
to have reaped the benefits of a lot of hard work on the part of Leslie,
Monica, etc........by the way, Lesley, it is your duty to get me on a
softball team, remember. To Stick-sorry about the lackluster horseshoe
performance, but maybe I was still sore from all the punches you gave me at
Suds factory Friday night. Steve Perry- congratulations beating Odell at
the chugging contest, I know he doesn't go down easy. To Odell-you ended
up a little richer ($20) after jumping in the lake, maybe that will kill
the aftertaste of getting pinned by Bill "licensed in thirty states to
wrestle" Gabor. By the way, if anybody is looking for Kevin Odell, you
can find him in a van, down by the river. For those of you that missed
that episode, I'm sorry, you'll have to catch up later. Keith, "The

By the way, my sides hurt from swinging the bat Saturday, or maybe it was
from laughing so much.

Dear Class of 1991:

I hope you all have a GREAT reunion weekend! Unfortunately, I will be
unable to make it back to Syracuse this time. I just heard about the
reunion 2 weeks ago and with my hectic travel schedule, the planning of our
wedding in September and building our house...we just could not fit it in.

So here is a quick virtual update on my life over the past 10 years.

After High School, I went to OCC for a year...then transferred to the S.I.
Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University (GO
ORANGE!!!), I actually roomed with Patrick Zufelt Junior and Senior year. I
worked in Radio in Syracuse and was on the air at Z89, WSYR-News and B-104.7
as myself and as Steve St. John for 2 years on Y94FM (long story
short...they just handed me an "on-air name). I graduated from SU in 1995,
left the on-air side and moved to NYC to work in international radio
marketing for Metromedia which owned radio stations in Eastern Europe and
Russia. Moved back to Syracuse in 1996 to become Marketing Director of
WSYR, WHEN and HOT 107.9. In 1998, I moved to Lexington, KY to become the
Marketing Director of 7 radio stations for Jacor/Clear Channel and was
transferred to Chicago to work for Clear Channel Corporate in 1999.

It was here where I met my soon to be wife, Rachelle Hardy, through the
Chicago SU Alumni association. She also happens to be a 1995 SU grad who
grew up in Chicagoland area. I am currently living in the Northwest suburbs
of Chicago and I am now working with Clear Channel Interactive, which is the
Internet division of Clear Channel Communications. Clear Channel owns 1,200
radio stations around the country, (including WSYR, WHEN, Y94FM, B104.7, HOT
107.9), along with TV, Billboards, Premiere Radio Networks (Rush Limbaugh &
Dr. Laura) and SFX Entertainment (concerts, sporting events & Broadway
tours).

I head up the department that is in charge of all online advertising on our
network of radio station and entertainment websites. (and YES - I am the one
that is responsible for those annoying pop-up windows).
That's my life in a nutshell. I hope all is well with you, your careers,
family, etc.
Drop me a line to re-connect! Would love to hear what you have been up to!

Sincerely,

Mark Verone
Director, Sales Planning & Administration
Clear Channel Interactive (CCI-Chicago)
