| FROM THE OFFICE OF HRM JOSE IZZAGUERRA |
| Fellow friends of the International Community: I address you today with great remorse as I refer to the tragic events that occurred in the United States of America. This morning, the entire world woke up to a different place. Surely, our relationships with the United States and our sense of security in the western world will never be the same again. Terrorism has no limits. There has been an absolute violation of human dignity today, and the government of Eslo looks upon it with utter disgust. Once again, I energetically announce that Eslo will not tolerate this kind of actions anywhere in the world. We will continue our humanitarian work as a micronation by building awareness of these issues among peoples. The people and the government of the Republic of Eslo are side by side to those of the United States of America. We deeply regret the irreparable loss of life that our friend has undergone. We strongly hope that peace can prevail among all humanity as we learn to cope together. Moreover, I am deeply sad to announce the loss of an Eslonian life in the recent events that have occurred in New York. She is a member of our diplomatic community. The wife of our Consul General in New York, Mr. Robert Elmer, has perished in the ruins of the World Trade Center. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. In light of these events, I have declared a week of mourning within Eslonian territory. All flags will be flown halfway up the staff. MAY JUSTICE PREVAIL.
