FROM THE OFFICE OF
HRM JOSE IZZAGUERRA
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE ROYAL PALACE
OF THE REPUBLIC OF ESLO

REGARDING ESLO'S PARTICIPATION IN THE 2002 INTERMICRONATIONAL ECONOMIC SUMMIT
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

The Eslonian Royal Executive and the Department of Commerce announce Eslo's participation in the
Intermicronational Economic Summit, being held at the Micronations News Center in May and June of 2002.

Eslo received a formal invitation to participate in the event from the organizers through the Eslonian representative office at the League of Micronations.  The invitation was reviewed and the Department of Commerce informed the Department of Foreign Affairs of their intentions.  Under the instruction of HRM King Izzaguerra, Secretary of Commerce Martin Amos will represent Eslo before this summit.

The Eslonian delegation will consist of two persons.  Accompanying Mr. Amos will be Ambassador George Stamps, who will be the representative from the Department of Foreign Affairs.

As goals in Eslo's participation in the summit, the Secretary and His Royal Majesty made it clear that the defense of quality standards in all micronational products will be an issue.  A definition of what micronational economy can and cannot be will also play a part.  Eslo will seek to find a working definition that will favor the capitalist system that exists in Eslo.

The views on general economics that will be expressed will focus on defending resources and improving as well as safeguarding working conditions in micronations.  Labor and social action by non-governmental actions is also on the agenda for Eslo if the debate allows for it.  The potential of the summit is clear to the Government of Eslo and the Department of Foreign Affairs stated that there is progress in the field of economic cooperation.
