THE KING OF ESLO CONGRATULATES HIS BRITISH COUNTERPART ON HER GOLDEN JUBILEE AS REGINA OF THE UNITED KINDGOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND N. IRELAND
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

His Royal Majesty, King Jose Izzaguerra, was present in London to celebrate the Queen of England's Golden Jubilee.  His Royal Majesty took the opportunity to send a letter congratulating Her Majesty on the momentous occassion.

An excerpt from the letter included "The British Monarchy is an ancient institution that has brought stability and calm to not only the UK, but all of Europe several times during its history.  In these trying times, the monarchy has continued to serve the people of Great Britain through service and goodwill."

The King also mentioned the full support and solidarity of the people of Eslo and wished the Queen well on all of her future plans.  The letter included an invitation to visit Eslo's Royal Palace through its official website.

The Government of Eslo considers that the historical and political significance of the British monarchy is substantial.  For the same reason, Eslo will continue to appeal for looser controls on commonwealth nations, while encouraging cooperation with the third world and opposing useless beurocracy.  In a statement issued in April of 2001, the Eslonian Royal Place mentioned the importance of Royal reform to fit the needs of globalization and democratization.
