 About the ESLgo Web Portal

The ESL site was initially tailored to the students of Logan Institute of TAFE in Australia who attended Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) in 1999. The web page was designed to facilitate them in the process of acquiring English competencies whilst addressing their specific needs such as:

1. Community Access Skills

2. Academic Studies Skills

3. Job Search Skills

Additionally, resources for English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) programs have been included on the Website. They comprise resources for:

  1. General English (GE)
  2. English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
  3. IELTS preparation
  4. TOEFL preparation
  5. FCE preparation
  6. Vocational English

The ESLgo portal comprises a wide range of interactive multimedia resources on the Internet that significantly enhance autonomous and flexible ESL/EFL learning. In addition, they add to ESL/EFL daily teaching practices.
