X-Treme Media Design is a company based out of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Our main goal is to create an interactive cd-rom yearbook for the residences of ST. Francis Xavier University. The yearbook cd's will contain pictures, and videos documenting the entire year for the residents, from day one of frosh week, to the goodbye's at the end of the year.

On top of these cd's, Xtreme Media Design is dedicated to maintaining and expanding their website www.XMD.ca This website will contain various pictures of events immediately after they take place. It will also offer residents a place to stay in touch with other residents and contribute their opinions and pictures/videos to their yearbook cd.

Each residence will contract X-Treme Media Design to document their special events at the beginning of the school year. Once this is done, "XMD" will attend all of your events and using pictures & video, design a cdrom yearbook, personalized with your house's information, to be distributed to each resident of the house at the end of the year. These cd's will also contain a bio of each resident, allowing everyone in your house to have a lasting memory of each other, after they depart from the house. It will also contain contact information so you can keep in touch after you lose the phone numbers and emails that are assigned by St.FX!

If you haven't noticed a X-Treme Media Design technician at your events, talk to your house president and ask them to get in touch with XMD. They can hire us to document these events, insuring that you'll recieve a cd at the end of the year.
