Chirana - Dental /limited liability company/ is one of the biggest companies situated in Pieštany, known for its thermal water and long-term tradition of medical engineering production. The firm continues to draw upon the experience of workers from the former company of Chirana Pieštany a.s.founded in 1962. Since its foundation in July 1997, Chirana - Dental has focused on the development, production, sale, and service of dental equipment. The field of the production of dental units, dental chairs and stools has become the leading program of the company. Chirana - Dental is a classic representative of an engineering company with its own development department which tries to develop and enhance dental products. The saleability of their products is enhanced by a wide commercial and service network both in Slovakia and abroad. Training sessions are regularly organized from the knowledge of merchandise for business partners and training sessions for service engineers. The main objective this company is to obtain perfect satisfaction of customers. In 2001 the sales level of 1 300 pieces of dental units, 1 300 pieces of dental chairs and 1 000 pieces of stools is expected.

Approximately 95% represents the total export production volume, whose main sales are to the markets of Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany and other countries. The quality of production, high technical level, reliability and safety and protection of patients are their priorities. The manner in which Chirana - Dental proceeds in the development and production of its products indicates, that the producer bears the whole responsibility of the legislative process of approximation of legal regulations and is adapted for new legislative conditions in joining the European Union.
