Flying was always a childhood dream of mine.
I achieved that dream about 17 years ago
when I received my Private Pilot License.
I started out my flying experiences with the Swallow
(my wife called it my lawn chair with wings).
From there I went to an experimental open cockpit FP303.
I enjoy flying as often as I can.

1946 Aeronca Chief
I've been flying this Aeronca Chief around for about 7 years.
I'm at total peace with the world when I'm up with her.
The Aeronca Chief is one sweet little plane. A two seater
with all the speed you need to enjoy a beautiful day out in the wild blue yonder
or she'll cruise at a nice slow and low to enjoy all the beauty of a river bank,
the wildlife of a farmers field, and the thrill of flying just over the tree tops.

In the winter I put the ski's on and can land almost anywhere.
I love landing out on Little Bay de Noc to enjoy an afternoon of ice fishing,
or landing in the field of a friend to pick them up for a ride.

Avid Catalina Amphibian
The Amphibian I purchased about 3 years ago and have not taken it up yet.
I'm in the process of putting a new improved engine in it.
This project is taking me much, much longer than I planned
due to the lack of time I have to work on it :(
I'm looking forward to landing on the many lakes here in the
Upper Peninsula of Michigan with my fishing pole and pup tent
My wife tells me I need to decide which one
I will keep after I get it flying. Hmmmmm..
maybe that is why it is taking so long to get it up in the air.. *Wink*
