| GAME #7 - Eskimos vs. Tigres - June 24, 2007 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Before the game, the crowd was pumped. The arena was rocking with record fan attendance at 9 people which broke our former record of 6. As the Eskimos came out on Sunday, they managed to become the victors without even kicking one goal. Yes everyone it is true. The Eskimos have gone on to win their second straight game in a row. The Eskimos are on a 2 wining streak in the COED league. With their awsome MIGHT, and STRENGTH, the Eskimos were able to clench that second victory in a matter of seconds. The other team, the Tigres, were unable to get 2 female players to show up, so they were forced to forfeit. So with their heads held high, and the Tigres held low in utter humiliation, the Eskimos played a game of scrimiage aginst the remainder of the Tigres. Since the Tigres were down some people, the ref's came and played on the Tigres side as well. There was even a special guest appearance by the cammera man, and website admin, Joshua Tigner as he came out there and made one kick, one pass, and one loud yell at a Tigres player that ran by him. But all and all, none of the Tigres efforts were any use for the game was decided before the day began. The TIGRES LOST, and the ESKIMOS WON!!!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| GAME #6 - Eskimos vs. Portugal - June 10, 2007 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| So where do you begin. This was the best game of the entire April 2007 season. The Eskimos won. That is all you really need to know. They scored 7 goals, and CRUSHED, SMASHED, and DESTROYED their opponents Potugal. They never stood a chance aginst the red hot (or ice cold) Eskimos which like Mr. Freeze from Batman and Robin, froze their rivals in their tracks. They will never forget the name Eskimos for as long as they live. Portugal players will be 100 years old, sitting on their patio discussing how they were honered to play against the best indoor soccer team in history, and then got their asses handed to them. It was a great day, and even though this game boasted the lowest fan attendence in Eskimos history, the Eskimos were still able to pull of a killer vicory. GO ESKIMOS!!!!!!! Erin scored a goal too. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| GAME #3 - Eskimos vs. Acoreano - May 6, 2007 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This was the game that the Eskimos had been waiting for since last season. If you will remember, the Acoreano pulled off a narrow victory last season with a 5-4 win aginst the Eskimos. Now was the time for the Eskimos to get there revenge! The Eskimos defense started off strong during the first 7 minutes of the game until the Acoreano managed to score a lucky goal aginst the Eskimos. Then another lucky goal about 7 minutes later. Then another just a little over a minute later, another one. With this commanding lead, the Eskimos had to regroup, and devise a new strategy for the 2nd period. The second period started off with a bang thanks to Kevin. In less than 4 minutes he was able to score a dominating goal to bring the Eskimos to a 1-3 score. Kevin was the shining light that the team was looking for and would bring hope in the face of dispair. Then out of no where, Acoreano score another goal in frustration, and an attempt to maintain the lead they had established. Then they scored another goal. With the fire in their eyes, they scored another goal. In a matter of 5 minutes the Acoreano scored 3 goals upon the Eskimos. The situation looked brim until Forward Kristen Casity scored a high kicking, super fast rocketing goal aginst the Acoreano. The ball was shot so fast that it knocked the Acoreano goalie off of his feet! But the Acoreano were not going to take the fall of their goalie lightly. They played some of the toughest defense the Eskimos had seen this season. They bolted down the field and blasted another goal in to make the score 7-2. This would be the last goal that the Acoreano scored for this game. Goalie Johnny Lennert would hold them back for the last 4 minutes of the game with his extrasensory blocking abilitites he had learned in his youth. Coach Nick Perez commented after the game that it was a "tough loss". But all Eskimo fans around the world know that the Eskimos will come back and achieve a victory next season aginst the Acoreano, and teach them what a real indoor soccer team is made of. |
