SIR RANCELOT
rance and i dated for a long time.  he's a few years older than i am.  i was afraid to ask my parents if i could hang out with him when i first met him.  i thought they'd tell me to find friends my own age.  i'm really glad they didn't.
he didn't drink or smoke his senior year while we were dating.  that's a good thing.  he probably kept me from getting into trouble like all my other friends.
we shared a lot of experiences... i don't regret any of them.  we had a lot of good times together.
some people thought it was weird when we were together.  they didn't understand how we even knew eachother since we were different ages and went to different schools.  we didn't care what they thought.
we went for a year without talking or hanging out.  we talk a lot more now.  we get along and have fun when we hang out.  he gives good hugs.
we  live really close to eachother now.  he said i can come party at his house in cheney.  i'm excited.  it'll be a good time.
one time he came to one of my away basketball games with my mom, julie, and nick.  nick was crawling around on him and being his usual hyperactive self when he suddenly stopped, looked rance right in the eye, and said, "hey, rance.  did you know you're black?"  the little kid's pretty quick on the uptake....
i've always been really comfortable around rance.  he makes me feel good about myself.  i think he knows more about me than any of my other friends.  sometimes i miss the comfort that i felt with him.  he's a great person.
