jon graduated when i was in 5th grade. he left soon thereafter to be in the army for a few years. during that time we didn't see much of eachother. he was a skinhead. but not the white supremist kind... the army kind... |

jon graduated from UW. he majored in history and political science. i don't know why, but apparently he loved it. however, i don't think his education will help him much when he's bailing hay and milking cows. |

jon-fin got married this summer to a cute little german girl named linda. they are very good for eachother. i'm happy that he found such a great person to spend his life with. |

jon lived in germany for a couple years while he was in the service. that's where he met linda. now that he's done with school, they've moved back so that linda can go to nursing school in germany. i think i might move in with them... forever. |

jon was my inspiration to move far away from home to go to school. i knew that if he could go off and join the army where he got his ass kicked everyday, i could manage to go off on my own for school. he laughed at me when i told him that. apparently, he thought it was just the alcohol speaking, but i meant it. |

we didn't get along very well when i was little, but it was just because of the big age difference. we get along really well now. i love it when he calls me at school just to check up on me. we have good talks. i know that i can tell him anything and he'll never pass judgement on me. i'm also glad he decided to come hang out in the states for a few years. i got to see him every few months. but i'm also glad he moved to germany because now i have an excuse to go there every year. |
