This section is dedicated to those dumb "add-ons" that you can attach to your web page. Geocities offers, like, a zillion of them. They often create unnecessary clutter on a page, and are just plain dumb.

First, let's look at a stat counter:
See who's visiting this page. View Page Stats
See who's visiting this page.

Does anyone really care that only one person besides myself has visited this website? (Well, I do, but that's beside the point) No. Moving on...

Here I have a board with news on it. Video game news, to be more exact:

Another unnecessary addition. If I really wanted to know what was going on the video game world, I'd go to Gamespot. Admit it, have you ever gone to a site about something completely unrelated to what you're looking for to get news? No.

Next up is the date:

I'm sorry, but if you can't figure out the date without the aid of a high school website, you don't deserve to own a computer.

And then there are directions. This can actually be kind of helpful, but some people put them on their sites even if they don't own a business:

Enter starting street address:

City, State or Zipcode:

DON'T do this unless you run a business or something. No one visiting will give a rat's ass where you live except for burglars and rapists. Just keep your private info to yourself.

And here's weather. Isn't it great to know what the weather's like in CELSIUS? Look, I know Celsius is better than Faerenheit, and the Metric system is a lot more usable in real life. But if your main audience is not foreign, let's try to stick to Faerenheit.

And that's all I have to say about that.

There's no place like Home
