December’s blustery weather brings about a decrease in recreational flying though it didn’t stop the Wright Brothers. It also brings about the yearly flight of a strange craft that has to be the world’s fastest homebuilt. Imagine TO’s & LDG’s at every home in the world in less than 24hours. (Powered by Reindeer no less) Try that with a Lycoming or Rotax.
Putting Christmas and The Wright Bros. In the same context, segway’s into this month’s activity. Cate Fairchild has invited our group to join the Delmarva Aircraft Association at a celebration of flight dinner on Sat, Dec 17th at Peaky’s Restaurant in Princess Anne MD. People will gather at 1800 hrs for dinner and socializing. In order to facilitate serving the expected large turnout, Cate has sent menu choices, to be e-mailed to her before Dec 10th.

Ron implored us all to write FAA and congressmen about the ADIZ. We will send one representing the club but well thought out arguments, devoid of inflammatory retrace, is strongly recommended. The deadline is early Feb 2006.
