our favorite part of a routine lovingly
called "Arm Thing" and doesn't Caroline
look spectacular?!
Here is a shot from the Desert Dreams IV
Evening Show in September of 2004, one of
our best gigs yet. All of us are doing chest
circles in deep backbends (even Renee on the
ground!) and the belly dance savvy audience
went wild!!!
Another picture of "Sabura," choreographed by
Andrea, demonstrates how much strength and
stamina belly dancers posess - this "leg pyramid"
sequence goes on for over 24 counts!
Here are my intermediate students again performing
"Taheedy" in Old Town Square, Fort Collins. There's
me beaming in the background probably tucking my hair
behind my ears. This routine has become a favorite
of all RMBDC students.
Andrea, Renee and I are the original members of
On The Raks, the performance troupe for RMBDC.
Here is a picture of us at one of the downtown
performances.
In this photo, we see Leslie and Jackie leaning
back and doing "classic arms" which is one of the
favorite partner moves in our class. Simone and Sarah
are also "boxing" in the background - the other favorite!
Here is the cutest shot of Renee and Slave together - ever!
The cobblestone was soo hot we burned our feet.
