Unclaimed Property – There is money out there, waiting for people to claim it…

As many are aware, the State of Illinois holds monies in trust for people and corporations, which go unclaimed for years, and sometimes indefinitely.  Each year millions of dollars are turned over to the various states as unclaimed property, in fact, all the states together are holding billions of dollars of unclaimed property in trust for people and businesses.  Too often people and companies do not know this money is out there and do not collect it.  The states make little to no effort to educate the general public that this money is available and is waiting to be collected.

What I do is to assist people and companies research with the states to determine if they have monies due them – are the states holding unclaimed property/funds for my clients.  When we find monies due my clients, we apply for it and collect every dollar available. 

I am currently working with a number of national and local charities – including the American Red Cross to recover monies due them.  And I want to expand who I am able to assist in this process.  There is money out there; it is just a matter of knowing who can help in the collection process.
