It looks like we will not be available for any New Year's parties this time around. Recently, we have basically been dormant for awhile because we were so busy with other things. I don't believe anything will get done until January, but look for some new stuff then.

We practed yesterday at Mike's house, the first time that all 5 of us have practiced together since the day before the party at Mike Rays's house. The little "groove" we've been working on lately has temporarily been renamed "The Ubersong." Zach has written a verse and some chorus to
the Ubersong, and we hope to finish it soon. John and Sean also have some other riffs that could be songs soon. -

Starting this coming week, it looks like we will actually be able to get some stuff done. Football will be over, and then Zach will finally be able to come to some practices. So then he can hear the songs we've come up with in his absence and then he can write words to them. Which means we'll have more songs. Which means we'll be closer to an album. Yay.

Yesterday we Practiced at my house (Mike) we got some work done, as far as, a new song and finishing up an older song, all of us were there except for Zach.

We do not want to get into the argument with fonix and Empire Plaza. Were going to keep our opinions to our selves so please keep us out of the argument.

The EE Guestbook is no more. Somebody went into it and edited all the entries and they were all messed up and stuff. So there will be no more EE guestbook. At least for now anyway.
On a happier note, John, Rocco, and Mike got together on Thursday for a small practice, but I dunno what all happened cause I wasn't there.
By the way, the Uberserver is back up so the talent show video is available for download again. The only problem is that the video frames are really choppy, but at least the audio is still there. I'll have to talk to John about the choppyness issue. Later.

We practiced yesterday at Mike's, but there was no Rocco or Zach there. We came up with a couple of song type things (one being a really funky groove) but that's it. Hopefully we will be able to get the whole band together soon and make some major progress. That's all for now.

Our video is currently not available for download because the Uberserver (John's FTP/where we host the video) is currently experiencing difficulties due to a small power outage that occured last night. Once the Uberserver is back up, the video will be available for download again.

The guestbook thing is really getting old guys. And we
can be original. Just like Duggan put it, your comments do hold some truths, but not all. I indeed would like to see some of you get your own band and write your own music with your schedules. I dunno about you, but we are really busy. The only times we can get together are on weekends because Zach has football everyday after school and Sean and Mike are in marching band (practice til 6 PM on Wednesdays after school; play at football games til 10 PM on Fridays). And we already know that this weekend we won't be able to get together because Mike will be out of town. Anyone can be original... the question is whether or not you have time to.

Two orders of business for today. First of all, please DO NOT fill up our guestbook with messages that say things such as "you suck" and the like. It/They will be deleted. If you want to send us hate mail, address it to
[email protected] and then maybe we'll create a special section that proudly displays the little hate mail we recieve. Finally, on a happier note, John's server is back up and the Talent Show video is once again up for downloads. And, it will be about 5 times faster now because John has recompressed the file to make it 18MB instead of 50MB. However, please only download it once (and then save it if you plan on viewing it in the future) so John's server is not overloaded and his bandwidth limit is not exceeded. One quick note... if you click to sign or view the guestbook, it may come up with an error that says something like "Guest Gear Error... cannot find guestbook." That because HtmlGEAR's servers are offline and they are doing some hardware maintenance. So everything is OK, cause their servers should be back up in a few hours.

Looks like nothing will be happening this week... Mike is out of town until next Saturday. But the site got somewhat updated today. Now we've got a guestbook so all you fans can ramble away at how good we are though we have barely written one song. And we also have John's FlashMX bio up in the "Meet the Band" section. We have also determined that there is no need for a manager or triangle players so we got rid of them. I guess that will be all for now. Later.

Well we did the party yesterday and it was okay, it rained off and on a bit, and that happened only when we were playing. There was a lot of video and stuff taken. So look for some new videos in the next few days. Speaking of videos, John recompressed the talent show video so now its about 18MB instead of 50MB (though it now has lesser quality sound). Maybe we'll post it up once his FTP is back online. The hat raffle didn't happen, but at least we sold a few. And it looks like we're going to buy a mixer soon. Probably the coolest news item is we now have our first song nearly finished, it is called
Dead or Alive. Once we finish it, maybe we'll record a sample and post it on the site. We have about 2 weeks left to finish writing some songs and practice and stuff because NHS band camp begins August 11 and then Sean and Mike will be there from 8 AM to 4 PM every day except weekends. Finally, we have been talking amongst ourselves about throwing an End-of-Summer party. We've come to the conclusion that this will probably not happen, but there's still a chance if we could get everything together for one really soon. Thats it for now. G'bye.

Only two days now until the party! Exciting, exciting. Nothing much happening right now. We practiced yesterday (learned most of
Everything Zen by Bush. But today we're "taking the day off" because Rocco and Mike went to Ozzfest. Tomorrow practicing resumes as we finally have Zach back and then tune up the two new songs we've learned. And then (if there's time) we may learn another song and/or finish writing one of our own. The lyrics for that song are done. In the last update, EE hats were mentioned to be raffled off. Well guess what, they will be! There will be 5-7 of these currently limited edition hats. So if you want to enter the raffle to get one of 'em, bring a few bucks (raffle will probably be no more than $2/ticket). We are also accepting donations. All money/profits that we get will go to the purchase of a P.A. system, something we dearly need. Also, bassist Rocky from Fonix (another Northville freshman band) will be performing a song with Zach (our singer), Mike Rays, and Brett Yuhasz. Hey everyone, are you as excited as we are for the party this weekend?? We finished practicing earlier today and learned
Warning by Green Day. We also played
Smells Like Teen Spirit and it sounded louder and better than ever before. By the way, to inform you, if you have a party and want us to play at it, do not ask us to learn any new Green Day stuff that we don't know because we are getting sick of Green Day. On a happier note, we may be raffling EE hats off at the party to raise money for some basic stuff needed for the band (like a P.A. system). After the party there will most likely be pictures and a new video or two up for viewing/download. And we will also start writing some songs after this party, John has some sweet riffs that we could use for sure. That's all folks!!!

Well, well. Looks like we got ourselves another party-gig. This time it's at Mike Rays' house. It's on July 26. Guess we better start practicing soon. Last time we practiced we sorta started writing the instrumental parts to a song but no lyrics to it yet. Zach's still got some lyrics written to another song, and once we write the instrumental parts to that one, they'll probably be much more driving than the one we're writing now. And it looks like we may have to learn some more songs too. That's all for now, see ya!

Hi everybody, Happy 4th of July! In yesterday's update, I failed to mention that there is a new section on this site called 'Videos.' So far, we have only one video of us performing (from the Talent Show). So go to the videos section and check it out! But, I will warn you that the video is about 50MB and takes almost one hour to download over broadband (yikes!). It is hosted on John's server/FTP (an old computer sitting down in his basement). Hopefully he will improve its speed or something in the near future. Later.

Just updated the site, mostly the pictures section. I added the pictures from Laura's party, which was back on June 20. Back from Laura's now, it was SWEET! We played 5 songs there (the list in the previous update, minus
Brainstew). Lots of cheer and applause. If anyone wants autographs, ask us whenever you meet us in person or email/IM us your address and we'll send you them. The only thing we forgot to do at Laura's is have one of our cases open and ask for donations and stuff... we need to get a P.A. system. What we do right now is we hook the mic up to Mike's guitar amp. Since the party and all other appearances are now over, I guess it will be time to write songs now, starting next week. We are at Mike's right now and we are practicing. Well, at least Mike and Zach are (for Glycerine) cause there's only a singer and one guitarist (Mike plays guitar on Glycerine). We're playing six songs for Laura's party tonight. They are
