January 9 2004 - Ordered the plans from Stevenson Projects
January 11, 2004 - Picked out the electric motor, refrigerator, and head. (found all 3 at Wal-Mart!)
January 12, 2004 - Selected colors. Silver sails, Black Lower Hull, Blue Cabin and between the rubrails, white deck.
January 21, 2004 - The plans are here!
January 23, 2004 - Agreed to buy a 48lb thrust trolling motor and deep cycle battery from Ron Reams for $75. Pick up Friday 30th!
January 30, 2004 - Got the motor and battery! Ron gave it to us on the condition that we would take him sailing!

February 10, 2004 - Escape to Continue's website is created.
February 11, 2004 - The materials are ordered!
February 20, 2004 - Purchased the Main Sheet and some other locally available hardware
February 27, 2004 - Purchased the materials for the Keel (1X12, Epoxy coated screws and Gorilla Glue )

March 5, 2004 - Purchased Bosch jig saw
March 6, 2004 - Began lofting the keel with lots of volunteer assistance!
March 20, 2004 - Finished cutting out the keel
March 26, 2004 - Purchased 5 sheets of ACX fir plywood for the hull and bulkheads

April 2, 2004 - Purchased lots and lots of clamps for making the keel and holding rub rails, etc.
April 3, 2004 - Began glueing the keel together in small workable sections
April 17, 2004 - Moved everything out to the carport and began putting together the larger sections.
April 23, 2004 - Purchased the last 1X12 for the keel
April 24, 2004 - Life Jackets! We bought life jackets that will match the color of the Escape!
April 25, 2004 - Final glue and screw on the keel is complete!
April 27, 2004 - Sanding and sanding to fair up the keel. She is a beauty. Moved it under the carport covering to protect it from the rain.

May 2, 2004 - Began lofting the bottom of the boat!
May 3, 2004 - Attached all panels, except the most forward, to the keel
May 5, 2004 - Cut groove in prow for the final panel and attached it. The hull bottom is complete!
