2. An author cannot be nominated more than once in the same category.

3. Each category will have approximately five nominees.

4. A category must have at least two nominees to be active.

5. The nominated story must fit into the category it was nominated for.

6. The story doesn't have to be complete except for the Best Overall Category but there must be enough completed to get a sense of the story.

7. The story must be currently available to read on the internet.

*Once the nominating period is completed a previously selected panel of 6 Everwood Fanfiction writers/readers will read all of the nominated stories and vote on the winners. The panel's votes will be available upon completion of the awards. Winners will receive an award icon to display on their page and their stories will be archived on the 'Escape to Everwood' homepage.
