The President presides over weekly meetings and oversees all activities. She communicates regularly with members, especially via e-mail, in order to conduct democratic business.
The Vice President works along side the President in overseeing all activities, plans and organizes Fall and Spring Rush, and collects and keeps track of all Sisters' service hours.
The Treasurer handles all of the accounts for the sorority.
The Jonquil Girl is in charge of sisterhood and keeping the spirit of ESA alive. She keeps up with birthdays and other special events. If a sister ever feels she has a problem with sisterhood, then the Jonquil Girl is there to listen.
The Scrapbook Historian takes and collects photographs to preserve the memories and history of the sorority in the form of a scrapbook.
The Webpage Historian maintains the chapter website and also preserves the memories and history of the sorority on the website.
The Publicity Co-chairs are in charge of advertising all events sponsored by the sorority and to inform the University of our activities.
The Special Projects Chair handles all major events to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She plans and organizes Rock-A-Thon and Kid's Week in the fall, and Rock-On in the spring.
The Ways and Means Chair plans and organizes all fund-raising activites for the sorority. The money made from Ways and Means helps fund all social activities.
The Philanthropic Chair serves as liason between the many organizations in the Columbia area which need volunteers and the sisters of ESA, including one-shots, small group activities, and long-term service projects for sisters.
The T-shirt Chair orders and chooses T-shirt designs for specific events in order to promote ESA. Some of these T-shirts inclue Rush, Rock-on, parents banquet, semi-formals, and retreats.
The Retreat Chair plans and organizes the fall retreat, the sisterhood retreat, and the spring retreat.
The Parliamentarian is in charge of keeping order in all chapter meetings.
The Social Chair plans formals, semi-formals, and any other social events to encourage sisterhood.
The Pledge Educator meets on Monday nights with pledges to train them in the history and customs of ESA, International and ESA�Sigma Phi. She serves as a mentor to the pledges and is responsible for administering pledge tests.
The Corresponding Secretary takes attendance at meetings and all ESA sponsored events. She is also in charge of all duties of the Recording Secretary when she is out.
The Recording Secretary takes the minutes at all meetings and e-mails the sisters so they have a detailed account of what happened during the meetings. The Recording Secretary is also in charge of all duties of the Corresponding Secretary when she is out.
The Standards Chair is responsible for monitoring sister behavior and reprimanding inappropriate behavior as necessary.
