Welcome to Just Wild Beat Communication.  We don't take much very seriously here.  Just about the only things that will get a rise are intolerance and hate.  (Which we think are just stupid.)  So we don't bash yaoi or het here- we bash both.  And love both.  All GW fans have the right to believe and create as they will, so long as they don't attack others.  So let's just forget all of that silly intolerance stuff and just have fun, ne?

That lofty mission being stated, the natural order progresses- on to the disclaimers!  You see, I say "yaoi, het, whatever"- but you say "C.A., why the hell do have all these 3x4 innuendos on a purportedly unbiased site?"  Ah-hah, there's the catch- I never claimed to be unbiased.  I have various incarnations of five pilots hanging around in my head 24/7.  Of course they're going to take some form or another!  My Quatre 1 happens to be very fond of my Trowa 1- but my pilots absolutely no bearing on yours.  'Kay?  Sighing nostalgically, I recall my days as an active member of the Les Mis fandom.  There's a lot less controversy over character interpretation there, I believe, because so many of the characters lack full names.  So, in consequence, my Etienne Combeferre may have a different relationship with my Michel Antoine Vincent Enjolras than someone else's Paul Combeferre and Lucien Enjolras- but no prob', no one's getting them confused or claiming ownership, ne?  But enough Les Mis.

Next dislaimer- I deride fluff and careless stereotypes.  So why the hell do I have fics including both and more?  Face it- fandom is a drug.  You have something.  You love it.  You pay good money for it.  You feel like you can't live without it.  So take some fluff if you're feeling blue- it'll make you feel better.  But remember that it isn't the only thing out there.  Fandom has the potential for being an intelligent drug of artistic merit.  Let's not abuse it.
