The smallholders’ association Associação dos Pequenos Produtores da Queimada Grande of Una, founded in 1997, with its president Sr. Laudelino Ramos de Oliveira, will start the project with 30 families. The technical assistance team consists of Fábio Nobre, local technical manager, and the Swiss biologists Richard Bolli and Barbara Suter.
