CamStudio/Windows Movie Maker Tutorial
1. Insert the DVD with the clips you wish to capture into your computer.
2. Open CamStudio.
3. Press record and use your cursor to draw a box around the area where the DVD will play.

4. Play the DVD. Anything playing in the region your highlighted in step 3 is now being recorded.
5. When you reach the end of the clip you wish to capture, press stop. A window will pop up. This window will allow you to save your captured video. Give the clip a name and save it to a location of your choosing.

6. CamStudio will now process your captured video and save it to your computer. This can take several minutes, depending on the duration of your captured video clip.
7. When CamStudio is finished processing your video, the Player will appear. The Player allows you to view your captured video.
8. Open Windows Movie Maker.
9. Look to the left hand side of your screen. Click 'Import Video' and select the video file you wish to import.

10. You can now begin making your video. To move a clip from the clipboard onto the timeline or storyboard, simply drag and drop the clip into position.
11. You can split large clips into shorter clips by using the 'Split Clip' button.

12. You can navigate your way through clips frame by frame by using the 'Previous Frame' and 'Next Frame' buttons.

13. Import music by clicking 'Import Audio or Music'. Drag the music to the timeline the same way you would with video clips.

14. Click 'View Video Effects' to add special effects to your video. Drag these effects onto the clips you want to use them on.

15. Click 'View Video Transitions' to add transitions between your clips.

16. 'Makes Titles or Credits' allows you to add titles and credits to your video.

17. When your video is finished, use one of the saving options to finish your masterpiece!
