Sensual Jasmine

A warmth settles
Over my bed as
We settle against
Each other,
Drifting off to
Sleep,
Arms and legs
Entwined.
The scent of
Jasmine
Emanates from
Both of us,
Sensual jasmine.
We both like it now.
It brings the
Pixies out to play.
I lay against
Your back,
My arm around
Your waist,
My face buried
In the hollow
Between your shoulder
And neck.
Your hair
Runs through my fingers
In thick, silky strands,
I run it between my
Fingers,
Sighing against
Your neck.
My heart settles
Comfortably in my chest,
Knowing you are
Here,
Laying beside me,
Separated
Only by clothes.
My breaths come
Easily as I
Hear the sounds
Of you sleeping.
Something about this
Feeling,
Of holding you close,
Sleeping next to you,
For even a few
Moments,
Feeds a fire
Lit between us,
A warmth left
By your footsteps
As you walk
Through my soul.
I can feel you,
Lighting me
From the inside,
Giving me back
A lost joy.
You moan softly
In your sleep
And stir;
You blink awake and
Lean forward to
Kiss me.
Such a gift,
A kiss from a
Sleeping Beauty!
I drift into
Sleep
As you slip away
Again.
I see
Jasmine blooming
In my dreams,
A garden we
Walk in,
Hand in hand,
And we knew each other
Completely.
I drift back,
As you shift
In your sleep.
Surrounded still by the
Jasmine,
We wake and
Kiss again.
This time
Goodnight.
I smell it still
Once youve gone,
Jasmine,
Lingering.
I close my eyes,
Hoping to find
That dream place
Again,
To know you
Completely.
So I follow your
Footprints
Through my soul.
Searching
For the scent of
Jasmine.
