This is the Old University. Given by Queen Victoria to the people of Tasmania for the Education of Tasmanians. The building is the same as it was in Professor Flynns day.Professor Flynn lectured here and Errol came along on ocations It is sitting empty because of the bequethof Queen Victoria Tasmania cannot put anything in there other than a school . boy I would love to go to School in this building.
BOB, Genene, Heather and Ila standing on the same steps as picture below. Proffesor Flynn * is the one standing next to the pillar just like Bob
*
Most gracous home the only one the Flynns ever bought. The rest of the homes they rented. We are not at all sure how Proffesor Flynn  bought this home other than a inheretance .
Pressland House the last place professor Flynn and Errol boarded before they left Tasmania forever
Hobarts Town Hall. Where Errol spent time dancing the nights away with the older girls of Hobart. Because of his panache and looks of an older adolescent he got into these dances and drank  much more than he should. There is a tale that says Errol walked up to a young lady hiding a rose behind his back. Bringing it foward he said a rose for a rose . Truth or another legand...
Well that concludes my Tasmanian Story and the tour that added a bit more to what I already knew. If you want to see more of these places in the days Errol  was alive the society has Errol Flynn the Tasmanian Story book and record as a fund raising program for $55 AUD if interested contact EFSOT
