THE COACH HOUSE
THE STABLES
Originally the home had a circular garden in the middle of the front yard.So all the visitors would come in thier horse and sulky and get dropped of  at the front door then the coach man would  take the other road to the coach house. The  senior coach man of the property got this to live in but only on the left side front and above. At the rear of the same building was the sulky quarters. To the right front of the same building was where all the harnises were kept called the tack room So his space was limited at best. This building still has some flooring but thr sulky room does not.

Cecil's Bedroom
This is the bedroom where Errol stayed when he visited the house, as Cecil and him were good friends. It has 1 small window and has a low roof which is angled.  On the other side of the hall way is another room of the same dimensions. The only difference is half the ceiling has been removed as is some of the walls as they had to be knocked down to see if the roof was sagging.
Robert and Genene in bedroom where Errol slept
I would like to say a big thank you to Alan for showing us his home. Idon't know how he lives like this as most, if not all, the rooms are in some sort of major decay. When they pulled the fake celing off the kitchen area they found where a stair case should be running so entered the large man hole and found 2 more attic rooms that had not been used in years. He had an idea there was more in the roof as there was too many attic windows in the roof when he looked from the outside. Lucky his partner George is a chef as the kitchen is not at all great. You know Alan said to George "wouldnt it be funny if Errol ever slept here" when they were looking at the property.. And guess what  Errol got another one up even after his death. Good one old sport.
I hope you have enjoyed Lonsdale house  and in the process learnt a little bit more about Errol in the process.
