What a popular topic this is, my guess is that at least 50% of all bloggers have a similar topic. And for those who don't, they just refuse to admit it that they are procrastinators.

So, today I am working on my webpage a bit. I should be doing real work, like updating a report that I have to get done soon..or perhaps going into the office to put together some stats for some folks from the IMF who are coming down to do some work with us.

However, I am learning HTML programming all over again, so that is hopefully gonna be of use someday.

See, rationalization is the key to having a truly fulfilling moment (or day) of procrastination.

As I continure to procrastinate, I am thinking about the issues with authority that most of us have. I don't have a serious problem with authority, but I sometimes can get to resent being told what to do, especially if the person telling me doesnt have the competence or 'high-ground' when it comes to whatever it is that hey are telling me to do. It has now occurred to me (had to be told no less), that I sometimes do this with others.

I am begining to wonder if I do have an authoritative style of doing things, sometimes I don't think so, but then at other times I find myself doing it. In life I try to find balance in things, anyone who knows me would testify that I use the word balance a lot. I guess I might be moving off balance a bit. So, I shall have to stop and check myself more often now.

There, ...much needed introspection.....see procrastination isn't all bad!
