Er. Rakesh Sharma working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at Yamuna Institute of Engineering & Technology, Yamuna Group of Institution, Gadholi, Yamunanagar, Haryana, INDIA.  

His studies include Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech. Amity University, Noida, India 2012) & Industrial Engineering (M.Tech. Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Panjab, India 2014). As a graduate student at the Amity University he was undergone foreign language course in German and acquired working knowledge of the language. After receiving his M.Tech in Industrial Engineering (Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, 2014) he joined the Yamuna Institute of Engineering & Technology as Assistant Professor in 2014. He is the author of a book “Metal Inert Gas Welding of Mild Steel (IS 5986 Fe 410)” Fundamentals,Optimization,Testing. (Germany; Lambert Academic Publishing, 2014). He has edited or co-edited three volumes on MIG Welding, Taguchi, and ANOVA in several issues of refereed journals. His work has been translated and published in India and Germany. His publication record includes over three articles and one book. He is a student member of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), IIE (Institute of Industrial Engineers), IE (The Institution of Engineers)
