| Come in all sizes Some are sexy Some are serious Some keep us informed Some are important for our financial well-being Some are so complex it takes a computer program to figure them out Some are so simple a small child can understand them Some scare us deeply Some make us smile Some help us go to sleep at night Some wake us in the morning Without them we would be totally confused With them some are totally confused There are volumes of books written about them They comfort us in retirement Some are really odd Some are straight Some are curved Some are long Some are short Some people feel right at home with them Some people hate them Little children like to play with them Most of us like to make them as big as possible A minority likes to make them as small as possible There is an infinite amount By Eric Johnston December 12, 2001 |
