On June 1st we will be going to the Sacramento Zoo. It will be an all day field trip. We will leave school at 9 o'clock and return at 2 o'clock. District busses will be our form of transportation. Please send your child with a sack lunch. If you would like your child to order a sack lunch from the school cafeteria, please let me know by May 28th.
I will be needing 6 parent volunteers to assist me on this exciting adventure, so please contact me if you are interested in joining the first grade classes on our trip to the zoo.
The end of the year is quickly approaching. To celebrate our students coming to the end of such a memorable and successful first grade year we will be taking a walking trip to Royer Park on Tuesday, June 8th.
Lunch will be pizzas and water bottles. Games and other activities will be provided by teachers, but if you have some interesting ideas, please share them with us. We do need volunteers to attend to the children as well as the events that will be taking place during the day.
