History:When Erishon was young, aroung the age of 93, his home was attacked by a band of Orc who had gathered in a cave not far from the borders. Erishon was seemingly the only survivor due to the fact that his mother sent him away before the fighting had begun. Erishon made his way north from the village and met many more survivors. With them he headed into the forests and together they built the Elven city of Aure. Erishon, due to his Avariel blood, he had even stronger affinities with magic than most elves,so he became a prominent member of the Val'Istarian Council. His studies in the magic of light gave him great advantages and his rank within the Council rose, until finally after 371 years, Erishon was appointed the Grand Mage of the Val'Istarian Council. Now that he was in charge, Erishon began to make many changes. He had seen the effects of weapons during the destruction of his village. He had watched many of the mages who had stayed to fight being slaughtered when any Orc came within striking distance. Erishon at once decided that the Mages of the Council, and any others who wished for the training, would be trained in the uses of different weapons. Gathering many of the finest warriors in Aure, he set up the Battle-Mage program. The Battle-Mage program was a great success, and soon the mages of Aure were trained, each in the use of different weapons, ranging from Swords to Bows.

723 years after the construction of Aure, a war began concerning the surrounding nations. The city of Aure was approached by many of the nations, seeking the alliances of the powerful elves to aid them in the war. After much debate, Erishon refused to participate in the war, claiming that too many of his people had died in war, and that there was no need for them to participate in this fight. However, soon after Aure fell under attack by a group of Goblins, Orc and Drow. The elves fought, both with magic and weapons and eventually the army of monsters was defeated. However, many lay wounded and some even dead. Since this, Erishon has dedicated much of his time and energies into putting powerful defensive wards around the city of Aure. There is now no possible way for any uninvited, non-elf to enter Aure without the use of powerful magics, and even then the city is well hidden within the forest, proving difficult for even the most keen eyed person.
