History:Having been born in the slums of Xuiyrel and abandoned by her mother, she was left to die as a child. The only option for her was to go with Uthios (the leader of the city at the time) when he discovered her living with some other youngsters in a grotty alleyway at the north end of the city. He kept her as his personal servant for some time; and although she was treated well, she became uneasy in her surroundings and ran away when she reached the age of 112.
After roaming the city and evading capture by Uthios several times she eventually found her way into the slave trade and sold herself to it under a false name. As she had no previous 'owner' -- that the traders knew of -- she managed to make a small fortune for herself through various acts of slavery without ever having been possessed.
Once Uthios discovered her again when she was 250, the traders knew they had been taken for fools. The events afterwards are largely unknown, because everyone involved in the incident was killed. Atienoa took over the slave trade in the chaos that the market experienced afterwards; although why she didn't free the slaves is a mystery.
After this, she adopted her fake name as her official title.
